2018-19 RYHA Girls Program-Copper City Rush

Rome girls hockey was resurrected in 2014 as a part time 10u

team and has never looked back. Our continued success and

strong numbers has made us the premier Tier 2 girls program

in the area. The Rome Youth Hockey Association is proud to

announce the expansion of our program. Next year will be the

inaugural season of the COPPER CITY RUSH. With over

65 female players in our organization we will host teams at

several levels.

The 8u & 10u will be dual roster / tournament teams. This

will consist of 1-3 tournaments with practices leading up to the

events. Coaches: Kurt Parry, Jim Deangelo, Nick Mendiola,

John Blaich.

A 12u state bound travel team. This team will 40+ game

schedule with 2-3 practices a week. The girls will also play in 3-

4 away tournaments and will participate in our home Fall

Brawl tournament. Additional registration fee required. Head

Coach: Steve Zizzo.

A 14u state bound travel team. This team will 40+ game

schedule with 2-3 practices a week. The girls will also play in 3-

4 away tournaments and will participate in our home Fall

Brawl tournament. Additional registration fee required.

Coaches: Rob Kopek and Nicole Ruddy.

A 16u split season state bound travel team. This team will

play most of their games before and after the high school

season. Coaches: Nicole Ruddy and Rob Kopek.
